Let’s have a look at the basics of the golf swing and what I mean by the pre-swing before you start spending to much time at the driving range without improving your golf swing or golf score.
You can’t afford to get the grip wrong – if you do it will cause the ball to travel to places where it will be impossible for you to par,or birdie the hole. An improper grip will cause the club head to impact the ball at the wrong angle of attack. A poor grip may also negatively affect your swing and balance because we can tend to compensate for a poor grip by wrongly adjusting our alignment and shoulder turn. For a right handed player, can you not see any of your left hand knuckles as your look down on your grip? Is the tension of your grip too tight or too loose? Are you not holding the club in your fingers but instead in the palm of your hands? These are questions you should be asking yourself.
Setting Up to hit the golf ball - Your stance to the ball can ruin your golf shots if you get it wrong! An incorrect address will have you hitting the ball to the wrong places to improve your golf score! At address you may be too close to the ball therefore inhibiting your swing, too far from the ball causing you to stretch. You may slouch over the ball too much. You may even dribble over the ball but if your address isn’t correct then you may as well dribble over your scorecard. How far do you stand from the ball? Are your feet, shoulders, hips and club face aligned to the target? Is your balance correct- the weight of your body should be more on the balls and middle of your feet rather than your heels. Is your body weight evenly balanced between your left and right feet? Ask yourself these questions.
Your Ball Position in stance - Your ball position is so critical to the destiny of your shot! Quite simply if the ball is too far forward in your stance or too far back then not only does that induce a slice or a push but can cause the rest of your swing and your stance to over compensate and therefore go horribly wrong. For a right handed player are you adjusting your ball position correctly in relation to your left heel and distance from your body as you go up or down in club? Ask yourself these questions.
How to Drive the Ball Long and Straight - Last but not least you need to learn how to drive the golf ball. Remember that the driver swing is just an extension of the shorter swings like the wedges. Be sure to stay loose and keep a light grip as this will help to promote a relaxed and tension free body which helps to promote the mechanics of the golf swing. Be sure to get the right kind of driver for your swing. If you have a high club head speed over 115 mph then go for a stiff shaft flex and a loft under 9 degrees. If your club head speed is less than 100 mph then stick with the regular flex with a loft greater than 10 degrees.
Why would an investor, a homeowner or even a worker want to follow the economy? Why would you want to bother tracking the seemingly complicated news on economic indicators?
How the Economy Works An Investors Guide to Tracking the Economy has this to say:
“Understanding the health of the US economy is very important if we are to be better informed citizens and voters. Moreover, knowledge of the economy may influence a choice of careers or a change in jobs. Fluctuations in the economy affect the stability of a job. Understanding how the economy works also helps to make sound investment decisions.”
The focus of that statement is on the US economy and with its sheer size it can be important to people in any country. Of course, people outside the USA will want to follow there own countries economic indicators more heavily and those within the US would do well to also follow international economic indicators.
Buying a house, taking out a personal loan, changing jobs, purchasing a big ticket item like a car or major appliance are all decisions that might be impacted by changes in the economy.
There are three types of economic indicators.
All the indicators have their place and an understanding of all three types is important for investors, homeowners and workers. Still the leading indicators are perhaps the most useful as they can help to predict future moves in the economy and markets. The Conference Board publishes a monthly index of leading economic indicators which combines ten major leading indicators into a single number that we can use to track the future of the economy.

Today we are (more and more|more} vulnerable from various mutations of the flu virus. initially we had alarms over the bird flu virus, and recently swine flu has become the major worry. Swine flu is of more concern than bird flu was. It was a worry that bird flu may mutate into a strain that would infect humans, apart from a few cases, this has not materialized. Swine flu is of much more concern, it is able to spread between humans making swine flu a dangerous threat.
Swine flu (influenza A (H1N1) is a respiratory disease that infects pigs and is the result of a flu virus. Outbreaks of swine flu in pigs is not uncommon but is only rarely fatal. Swine flu has not normally infected humans, although it can happen occasionally.
Swine flu is particularly dangerous as it is a new strain of the flu virus. The problem is no one has been in contact with this particular type of flu before, therefore no one has built up any immunity to this strain of flu. It is our inbuilt immunity that stops diseases from becoming life threatening, with no immunity to this virus we are in serious danger from the virus. Absolutely everyone is vulnerable, this includes healthy adults and teenagers as well as children and the elderly.
The real concern is what occurs when the flu season starts in the winter. It is then when the swine flu virus may spread quickly causing a flu pandemic with the potential for over half of the population being affected.
Swine flu symptoms are very similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu. These include a sudden, sudden onset of a fever, cough, shortness of breath. Other symptoms can include headaches, sore throat, muscle aches, chills, sneezing, a runny nose, appetite loss and tiredness.
So what precautions can we take. Anyone with cold or flu symptoms needs to take a few simple, but most important precautions. The virus is spread between humans by the droplets from the nose and mouth when someone coughs or sneezes. This is how viruses such as swine flu are passed from person to person. Covering your nose and mouth with your hands when you cough or sneeze isn’t enough. The virus then live on your hands, then everything you touch afterwards becomes contaminated. Anyone then touching the same place as you will pick up the virus and will then risk becoming infected themselves. Therefore, always use a handkerchief or tissue. A tissue is far better, this should then be disposed of as soon as you can, and always use a fresh tissue if you sneeze or cough again.
Currently there are no vaccinations that prevent anyone catching swine flu. The swine flu virus is a new type of virus and is not the same as seasonal flu. The annual vaccination against the usual seasonal flu is not effective against the swine flu virus. Once the type of flu causing swine flu is identified, it will take several months to produce. By which time, it may have changed into a different strain.
Currently the only real effective precaution against swine flu is Tamiflu. Tamiflu isn’t guaranteed to stop flu, but when a person has been exposed to another person who is carrying the flu virus, Tamiflu can help prevent the virus making a person sick. If Tamiflu is taken within 2 days of developing flu, it can help stop the virus spreading throughout the body, reducing the symptoms and risk associated. Governments are stocking up on Tamiflu, but the supplies will be used to treat important workers and individuals before the general population.
You can buy Tamiflu online, so if the situation occurs you can protect yourself and your family. It cannot be emphasized strongly enough, Tamiflu has to be taken as soon as possible to be effective, delays in treatment will greatly reduce the effectiveness of Tamiflu. If you are at a increased risk due to your situation, such as For example living in a busy city with a large population or for example working in a busy office, then it may be wise to buy Tamiflu before the winter flu season begins. If you live in the country and do not have close contact with many people then of course there will be less chance of getting the flu virus.
Also, remember that swine flu is a worldwide problem. If a pandemic outbreak becomes global it is possible that supplies of Tamiflu may be diminished and may not be great enough to meet a huge global demand.
Until a vaccine is found and manufactured in the large quantities required, Tamiflu is the most effective treatment for swine flu.

Introduction
Whenever there is a special event being held, the organisers want to make an impact or find something novel to wow the people attending the event. Sometimes there are ice sculptures or huge displays of flowers, maybe swathes of fabric, all intended to make an impression on the guests. One novel idea is to have Balloon sculptures or a Balloon Arch. They are bright, colourful and impressive structures which catch the eye and are a great way to make an impact at your event. There are balloon arches to compliment any occasion, whether it is a wedding, promotional marketing campaign event or special celebration such as 40th wedding anniversary.
Usually when there is a special event, profession balloon decorators would be engaged to make an eye catching arch of colour or combination of colours which can be twisted to greater effect. There is a choice of a huge selection of any number of colours, from basic colours to pearl shine and metallic finishes, when combined in a creative blend, they will improve any decor you may choose.
Professional balloon party decorators would know how to prepare a balloon arch and use electronic equipment to measure the precise amount of helium to fill the balloon to achieve a uniform size for the best results.
However, if you are an aspiring balloon sculptor then you might like to attempt a balloon arch for yourself.
Here is How You Make a Balloon Arch
Materials:
Latex Balloons (The number will depend on the size of the arch), Nylon Line (Like that used for fishing), 2 Weights, Balloon Sizer, Curling Ribbon or tulle (Net), Helium in canister
Stage 1
Cut the nylon thread (fishing line) to the precise, length required (See formula below)
Arch length formula
If the arch is taller than it is wide: (2 x Height) + Width = approximate total length
Stage 2
Both ends need to be tied to something heavy to hold it in place while you work.
Stage 3
Using the balloon sizer as a guide, inflate the balloons with helium so that they are a consistent size. (A cardboard circular template can be used if you have no sizer.)
Stage 4
Secure the balloons on to the line (always approaching the line from the same side)
Stage 5
Leave approximately 12″ between each balloon. Once they are tied on the balloons can be moved smoothly to the required position so that it is firm and the shape you want.
Stage 6
Release the ends of the line from its holder and fix a suitable weight to either end of the arch to hold it in place. It can be a star weight or frilly foil weight.
Stage 7
Any decorations can now be added to the arch such as curling ribbon which is allowed to hang down or tulle festooned to give a wedding effect.
Helium Balloons
Balloons filled with helium gas are lighter than air which means they float upwards. Professional quality balloons are made from 100% biodegradable latex and are usually larger in size than most retail packet balloons. Helium filled latex balloons normally only retain their buoyancy for a few hours. The enclosed helium atoms are smaller than the pores in the latex through which they escape. To increase the float time of a helium balloon for up to a week, the inside of the balloons is coated with a special polymer solution to minimise the leakage of the helium.
Safety and environmental concerns
Helium filled balloons once released into the atmosphere usually travel a long way before they finally burst or deflate. An estimated 90/95% of balloons released rise to an altitude of 5 miles, at which height the cold will cause the balloon to become brittle and shatter into miniscule pieces. The small fragments then floating back to earth to degrade into the ground. Because the latex from which balloons are made comes from the Hevea tree they are completely biodegradable and the dyes used in latex colouring are also non-toxic. Research has demonstrated that latex balloons degrade faster than oak leaves. Oxidation occurs first in the breakdown of latex and it begins within an hour of a balloon being inflated. As the decaying process is by natural exposure the nutrients are released into the soil.
Balloon Sculptures and Arches
Even though hundreds of balloons may be needed for sculptures and arches, they are often constrained because of the round shape of the balloons. More ambitious “sculptures” have been attempted on occasion but mostly they are restricted to simple walls or arches.
There are many events where balloon arches could be used. The most common type of arch is a single row of pearl latex balloons with co-ordinating ribbons. Often they provide a focal point at a wedding for a couple to pass through either at the service or at the reception. They may serve as a frame to outline other displays or for photograph taking, or just to enhance a feature at the venue. The arch is held in place by a hand-made weight covered by a bow. Sometimes balloons arches are used for table decorations at special events with smaller balloons for each arch. The decoration will usually include curled ribbon with an added weight to stop the balloons from floating away.
Conclusion
There is no doubt that balloon arches make a wonderful eye catching centre piece for any event|occasion|festivity}. There is an unlimited choice of colours and effects, foil balloons can make a particularly interesting balloon arch at a relatively low cost. They are a spectacular alternative to arches of flowers or drapes and provide a lively talking point for guests. Whatever your celebration may be, whether it is a wedding, birthday or special anniversary, or a corporate event, the balloon arch will give a special flavour to your occasion enhancing the total experience.

In my last post I had a section regarding on page SEO and in particular some information on controlling how ranking is passed from a website. If you control your ranking flow you can save time and money by not wasting ranking on such pages as affiliate program, about page, terms and conditions and so on.
The ranking or authority of a website is determined on such aspects as popularity of the website (amount of traffic), number of income links and their quality, number of pages and on page SEO factors. Before I carry on, when I talk about ranking I am not referring to google page ranking, I am referring to the general ranking of a website for all search engines.
As all search engines have their own algorithm’s for ranking websites and unfortunately they don’t share that with the general public, it is impossible to determine exactly how website ranking is worked out. The only thing that is known for certain is onpage SEO, incoming links and amount of pages of a website, play a big part in a websites ranking.
The ranking of a website is probably the most valuable asset to a site owner, it can mean the difference between making a fortune on the Internet or just making some pocket change. Why is it so important? Well the ranking determines where a website is displayed in the search engines, a better ranking equals better placement and in turn better placement equals more clicks.
Like I explained in the previous post, imagine a website main webpage is a bucket which is filled with ranking from SEO effects and there are holes at the bottom of the bucket were the ranking flows out. As ranking is such a valuable asset it’s wise to direct the ranking to were you want it to go by blocking off those holes were the rankings not needed. I am talking about such pages as contact us, terms and condition, disclaimer, category pages, terms of use and pages along those lines. As those kind of pages are designed to improve the customer experience they won’t need SEO on them, so why waste the precious ranking on them.
The two methods I am going to use to control the ranking flow on my website are the html statement ‘nofollow’ and robots.txt. Both of these methods are very simple but very powerful in helping search engines figure out how you want them to see your website and were to direct the ranking.
The ‘nofollow’ statement tells the search engine to ignore the link it is associated with and not to pass any ranking through it. It was first created to help tackle spam comments on blogs but was quickly taken up by website owners when it became common knowledge that it was significant in controlling the flow of ranking on a website.
robots.txt is used to control the spiders that visit a website. A large part of a website traffic comes from programs called spiders, these spiders are used by thousands of companies for many different reasons on the Internet. So if a website is just left open for spiders they can eat up the bandwidth, slow a site down, look at and log information which a site owner may not want to publish and at the very worse mess up a site completely. How does robots.txt help with ranking control? Well it can be used to block off areas of a website were site owners don’t want the spiders to go and by doing so stops the flow of ranking to those areas.
The two methods above are not difficult to implement and are a good way to control the flow of ranking on a website, yet so many website owners overlook this when designing their sites. Having the power to shift ranking around a website will enable a site owner to rank the pages of their choosing with a lot less work and hassle.
Zoological Design and Nature Exhibit Design has been an ongoing constantly -evolving science for over a century, from the royal menageries of Europe to the “landscape immersion” concepts of today’s natural habitats. With increasing conservation awareness, zoos aim to educate their visitors of the integrated, natural, social and ecological lives of each species on display, and to inspire conservation awareness for that natural system.
In Zoo construction, Countless species have been placed and or born into world-renowned; state of the art zoo exhibits. Scientist has made countless discoveries through caring for wild species in captivity. Each species receives the best of care and provision while living in a carefully designed habitat.
Designing these types of complex landscapes requires immense planning and integration of multi-functional criteria. Specialized experience is needed to conduct planning workshops, develop Project Programming, Design and Construction Documents with particular care for the captive animal populations and the people who manage them. Biological criteria programming must meet the needs of each and every species.
Museum Exhibit design both exterior and interior must furnish artificial rocks, caves, water features, trees, landscape simulation and nontoxic plant materials, substrates, and perches.
Animal security for both interior and exterior barriers, caging, doors, observation and daily management systems. Both keeper safety and animal welfare require more complex materials, equipment and layouts. Animal medical support through medical treatment, observation, training, isolation, quarantine, air filtration, heating, cooling and ventilation.
A visitor interpretation for each exhibits that provides a direct experience for the visitor while maintaining a comfortable, safe and productive life for each and every species.
The place in your house where water damage is most likely to occur, is definitely the bathroom, with the kitchen as a good second. Bearing in mind that the internet is totally international, the word “bathroom” needs a clear explanation. What all around the world is called wc or toilet, is called bathroom in the US of A. In Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia a bathroom is nothing else than presisely what it says: the room where one has ones bath. It’s good to bear that in mind, not only when reading this blog post, but also when travelling to the US from elsewhere, or to elsewhere from the US! Many hilarious misunderstandings have already resulted from this tiny difference in idioms, and quite a lot more will occur in future!
Preventing the ruinous effects of water damage is much better and cheaper than repairing it, and it takes very little effort that might save you a lot of expenses. You need to start with a simple check for hidden leaks: turn off all the faucets (English) or taps (American) in your house, and all household appliances that work with water like coffee machines, dishwashers, washing machines and such. Nothing in your house should, for the time being use any water at all. Check your water meter and write down what it says. Leave things alone for about an hour, and then take a look at the water meter again. A different reading almost certainly indicates the presence of a water leak, unless of course you’ve forgotten to turn off really everything.
Give your bathroom AKA (wc|toilet} a good inspection then. Soft, slightly damp or outright wet floor spots near the edge of the bathtub, the shower stall or the toilet bowl, often accompanied by some discoloration, are sure signs of water damage that requires your immediate attention. Fortunately that’s very easy: re-caulking the area where the walls meet the floor or the appliance, usually helps solve the problem. If, like in most homes, you have tiles in your bathroom, cracks in grout or areas where it is missing can also cause a lot of damage.
The overflow of toilet bowls is an well-known cause of water damage, even if it does not happen that often. Putting too much toilet paper or other objects down the toilet bowl can cause it to back up with a vengeance. Even the kind of deodorant that is placed inside the toilet bowl can cause blockages in the plumbing, and if that deodorant happens to be chlorine-based and the pipes are of the ancient metal kind, it can even cause the pipes to oxydize and produce an additional leak. You must definitely be aware that your toilet bowl is not intended to be a household waste receptacle, and never try to flush anything down that simply should have been thrown out into the rubbish bin.
